At Merabi & Sons we promote and coordinate the networking activities of marketers through our structured private networking programs. We ask our tenant-members to offer rewards, incentives and/or discounts to fellow members.
The ultimate goal of the MAS professional network is establish concrete affiliations with hundreds of thousands of other office building owners to create a MEGA networking program that will benefit millions of tenant-members world-wide.
We encourage all of our members to take charge of the future of their business. Turn all of your opportunities into success. Invite everyone you know to join our team.Networking is an essential skill for most business people, but especially for entrepreneurs. Today’s entrepreneur must get out into the world to create and maintain business relationships. Within the resources of this network, you will find tips and resources to help you improve your business networking skills and extend your reach.
I was reading an article in which a well-known business Entrepreneur explained that, regardless of myths and misinformation about networking as a marketing tool, referral networking is becoming an accepted and important marketing strategy in businesses worldwide, a member-network in Miami calls this “Premature Solicitation.” (Say that fast three times and you might get in trouble!)
Have you ever been solicited for a referral or for business by someone you didn’t know?
Once upon a time, during a business meeting, I was asked to make a recommendation for the gentleman I had just met and a long-time business colleague.
So what was I supposed to do?
I wanted to ask him if he was completely insane. Am I going to introduce someone I don’t know and have no relationship with, to Sir Ivan or Alan, whom I’ve have known for more than 30 years, so that he can attempt to sell him some product or service that I don’t know anything about or haven’t used myself? Yeah, right. That’s NEVER going to happen.
To emphasize this, I replied, “Hi, I’m Kami Merabi. I’m sorry. I don’t think we’ve met before. What was your name again?” That surprised the man enough to make him realize his request was totally premature and inappropriate. I explained that, I regularly refer people to my contacts but, only after I’ve established a long-term, strong relationship with the service provider. He said thanks and moved on to his next victim.
Networking is not about hunting. It is about farming. It’s about cultivating relationships. Don’t engage in premature solicitation. You’ll be a better networker if you remember that.

I think about my tenants all the time and I like to help them with ideas and pass along the resources I have available to me. Every few months, I try to keep my friends & tenants up-to-date with current financial issues or important topics. Here is an idea I had and now is put to work to benefit my friends & tenants .This is not a download or an attachment. It is a safeguarded email and joining the network is free.
