Each MAS CEO GROUP has a chairperson, who would act as a facilitator and guides members through MAS CEO GROUP meetings. The Chairperson plans and schedules the three-hour monthly meetings throughout the year under supervision of Mr. Merabi, and ensures the meetings follow a logical, timely and productive course, tailored to the time-sensitive to all CEOs’s schedules.

Once a Month Meetings

Each MAS CEO GROUP meets monthly for three (3) hours on the premises of the featured member company or at a neutral meeting facility (Ball Room of a Six Stars Hotels).

MEETING AGENDA

Monthly MAS CEO GROUP meetings are divided into three (3) segments:

1. Check in: For the first hour, all members participate in a business roundtable discussion of each other's outstanding business issues and successes.

2. Member Presentation: During the second hour an appointed member presents the company's prior year performance (including financials) and next year's revenue and profit goals, action plans designed to overcome perceived obstacles.

3. Member Feedback: For the remainder of the meeting, members provide feedback and closure on the many issues facing the presenting CEO; recommended action is offered. The CEO determines what options are applicable to the company's culture.

Discussions are open and frank, and the proposed suggestions are drawn from participating members' own experience and expertise. Between meetings, members may meet individually to clarify or elaborate on the recommendations proposed during the regular meeting.

MEETING FUNCTION

THE MAS CEO GROUP employs a process of creative problem solving, using the collective and diverse experiences of the members. While THE MAS CEO GROUP meeting format is structured, it is not overly rigid, allowing for the potent and often pointed give and take between its members.

CONFIDENTIALITY

A key factor to THE MAS CEO GROUP's success is the complete freedom its members have to critique each other's business strategies and actions in an atmosphere of mutual confidence and trust. For this reason no competitors or vendor-related firms are allowed on the same MAS CEO GROUP and solicitation of members is prohibited. Most importantly, what is discussed by THE MAS CEO GROUP remains in the MAS CEO GROUP room. Your confidence and trust are protected; in fact, members are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

MAS CEO GROUP members are CEOs, presidents, managing partners and controlling equity owners of privately held companies. Targeted companies have a minimum three years history and range in size from 20 to 500 employees and annual sales revenues of less than $100 million.

MEMBER COMPOSITION

Each GROUP is comprised of up to 12-14 carefully selected business owners from noncompeting, privately held companies. Typically one third of a GROUP's members are managing partners from service provider firms (Public Accounting, Law, Engineering, Finance, Marketing and Management Consulting firms) and the remaining two-thirds come from other industry sectors (such as Manufacturing, Wholesale distribution, Retail, Construction, and Transportation, etc.). Such diversity is critical to the success of MAS CEO GROUP. GROUP members also bring unique skills in operations, finance, sales and other disciplines. Members recognize their own strengths and weaknesses and look to one another for complementary expertise.

MEMBER ORIENTATION

MAS CEO GROUP offers an orientation for prospective members to discuss the mutual benefits of participation for the prospect and existing GROUP members. An initial meeting is set between a member candidate and the chairperson. This meeting explores the candidate's expectations from participation, their potential contribution to other members and issues of no competitiveness and confidentiality with MAS CEO GROUP.

Upon conclusion of this meeting, if the prospective member and the chairperson agree on the mutual benefit, an invitation is extended to enroll in MAS CEO GROUP for a two-month trial membership. At the conclusion of that period, if the relationship is beneficial, an initial twelve month membership commitment and fee will be completed by the new member.

TRIAL MEMBERSHIPS

Prospective qualified members are eligible for a trial membership to orient themselves to the workings of MAS CEO GROUP. The process begins with a one-on-one interview with MAS CEO GROUP Chairperson at the candidate member's place of business. A signed nondisclosure agreement allows the prospective member to attend two GROUP meetings, after which the prospect is given the opportunity to commit to a full membership.

FULL YEAR MEMBERSHIPS

A one-time enrollment fee of $600 is charged to a candidate. Annual membership fees are paid in full at the beginning of the calendar year or by monthly or quarterly installments.
